Estonia's foreign-exchange reserves (ex-gold) rose to USD 2.35 billion in August 2026, from USD 2.33 billion in July 2026. The August figure marks the second consecutive monthly increase, following a decline from February's recent high of USD 2.51 billion. Despite the uptick, reserves remain well below the all-time high of USD 4.26 billion recorded in July 2008, and above the all-time low of USD 0.21 billion from December 2011. The value is also lower than the USD 2.41 billion reported a year earlier, according to the International Monetary Fund.

Estonia's foreign-exchange reserves (ex-gold) fell to 2.32 USD bn in June 2026 from 2.34 USD bn in the prior month. The current level remains well below the all-time high of 66.61 USD bn recorded in July 2008 and above the series low of 0.21 USD bn from December 2011. The series dates back to January 2000.
