India's tourism revenues fell to $5.49 billion in the second quarter of 2026 from $9.29 billion in the previous quarter, marking the weakest reading since the second quarter of 2022 and a second consecutive quarterly decline. The figure was also below the $5.85 billion recorded a year earlier. The all-time high was $10.07 billion in the fourth quarter of 2024, according to the International Monetary Fund.
