Latvia's gold reserves rose to USD 953.2 million in August 2026, from USD 867.1 million in July, according to the International Monetary Fund. The August figure marks a rebound after two consecutive monthly declines, though it remains below the all-time high of USD 1,114.4 million set in February 2026. Year over year, reserves were up from USD 728.6 million in August 2025. The series, which began in April 2000, has ranged from a low of USD 64.7 million in March 2001 to the February peak, the IMF data show.
