The deficit reversed a surplus of $150.3 million a year earlier in the same quarter of 2025. The latest reading remained far from the all-time high of $809.0 million in the third quarter of 2020 and the all-time low of -$939.3 million in the third quarter of 2008, according to the International Monetary Fund.
