This marks the 25th consecutive weekly increase, extending the longest rising streak on record since at least December 26, 2025. The latest level remains below the all-time high of 4047 billion cubic feet set on November 11, 2016, and well above the series low of 824 billion cubic feet from March 28, 2014. Year-over-year, stocks are down from 3423 billion cubic feet a year earlier. In related data for the same period, gasoline production stood at 9644 thousand barrels per day and strategic petroleum reserve stocks at 284957 thousand barrels, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration.
